A Sixth History roguelike in which you carve your paths through a dream older than mankind itself: The voices in the Wood call out to you.
Limited resources are the tools with which you enact your march: Your health, your items, and your actionpoints. Be mindful of them.
The candle flame of your essence will only ever dim.
[You manipulate your surroundings and attack your enemies using your items - but all of them are, in some way or another, consumable. The key at not perishing too severely or too often in this game is to use your limited resources as efficiently as possible.]

This game is a learning experience. The manual contains helpful basic information, but many of the capabilities and intricacies of specific creatures and items will have to be studied or found out by the player. Knowledge and Understanding are the tools that allows you to both recognize the options available to you in each given situation, and how to use each of these option in the best possible way.
Sometimes, fate is cruel. Sometimes, we can find and forge a way to be cruel to fate.

This is a work of folly. Alchemical dreams lead you into the Wood behind the world. There was something you needed to do.

[Note that this game currently does not have any sound/music - I am very inexperienced in these matters. Perhaps that will be something for the future, perhaps not. [Just like rogue... a true roguelike...]]

[This game is designed with a resolution of 1920x1080 in mind. Other resolutions (particularly lower ones) are likely to have issues.]

[I have been trying to rid this game of its unintended bugs, but my playtesting had been limited to me and a very small number of friends. I will appreciate bug reports, should you encounter seriously unserious behaviour. This also means that I could not cover a large range of devices; Computers are strange and wicked and I cannot guarantee that the game will run everywhere ;v;
The .console executable (or, for linux, the .sh) of this game opens a console in another tab while the game runs. If errors happen, then that console should have further information about them - information that could be very helpful for me in order to figure out what exactly could cause a given bug.]
